Just had a great fun run through Zul'Aman. I like that instance; great trash design, hard enough to be a challenge to a T6 guild while still being fun, and the challenge of the bear mount timer to give you a real goal to aim for. Also the 10 man format requires a lot of versatility and creativity from the raid.
Our group went with 6 DPS, 2 healers (shaman and druid), and 2 tanks; me and a prot paladin. The prot pally makes Eagle trash and Dragonhawk adds a lot easier. And two hybrid tanks gives versatility. For single tank bosses the prot pally can go healing, or he can tank and the feral can go DPS.
I went tanking this time, but just because I'm tanking doesn't mean I can't do other things. I managed to battle rez folks during both the Dragonhawk and the Hex Lord fights. On Dragonhawk you have time to brez during the bombs. On Hex Lord if you Barkskin you have time to cast spells during the shadow missiles; I cast a rez, an innervate, and a Tranquility. And of course on Zul'jin a feral tank is perfect because in phase 3 we can swap to cat and do decent DPS in the tank gear.
I like tanking a lot better when it's not just %26quot;Stand there and mash the lacerate button%26quot;.
